Enabling Voice Control with Google Home and Amazon Alexa

Google Home


Note: Please make sure your Zimi Cloud Connect is connected and is ONLINE. 


Please also make sure you have created a 'Home' from the Google Home app before linking.



  1. Open the Google Home app on your phone and select the** + button **up the top


  1. Under the Add menu, select Link app or service and then select Works with Google


  1. In the search bar, search for Zimi and select it.




  1. Enter your Zimi login details and select Authorise when asked.



  1. Your Google Home device is now linked with your Zimi devices! The Google Home app will now add your devices on the app's home page.





Amazon Alexa



  1. Open your Alexa app and select More located on the bottom right corner.


  1. Select Skills & Games


  1. On the top right corner, select the magnify icon and enter Zimi in the search box.


  1. Select Zimi after it has appeared in the search results


  1. Select ENABLE TO USE.


  1. Log into your Zimi Account and select Authorize to allow Amazon to use your account.



  1. Congratulations! You have successfully linked your Zimi Account with Alexa. Select Close.



  1. Alexa will now begin searching for your Zimi devices and then add them.
