# Where is the reset button?

The reset button on all Zimi devices is located behind the switch plate cover. You'll need to remove the cover plate to access it.

###### Accessing the reset button:
1. Carefully remove the front cover plate from your Zimi device
2. The reset button is located on the device itself, now visible after removing the cover

###### Using the reset button:
* **Single tap:** Refreshes the device. Use this if your device is unresponsive or needs a quick restart without losing its configuration.
* **Press and hold:** Performs a factory reset. **Warning:** This will erase all settings and remove the device from your network. You'll need to set up the device again from scratch.
